Laura Wienroither felt "incredible" after scoring her debut goal in Arsenal colours in front of 40,000 supporters at Emirates Stadium.
"It was incredible to score in front of a home crowd, in front of the fans, which was really nice. And also, my family is here so it's a good feeling."
Wienroither's rocket of a strike looked set to give us the three points against Manchester United on Saturday until the visitors stole a win in injury time.
"It's just a bit sad that it doesn't give us anything at all. I felt like the momentum was for us at that point," she said.
"The early goal after kickoff in the second half was really good for us. I felt like we could control the game for the next 30 or 35 minutes. It's just frustrating that we conceded two goals from set pieces. We end up with zero points, which is obviously really frustrating."
Wienroither, who joined us from Hoffenheim in January, has enjoyed an electric spell of form this season in the league and in Europe.
Speaking after the match, boss Jonas Eidevall commended our wing-back's development: "I think that's what we should expect at Arsenal. We should expect improvement in our environment. She shows if you work hard every single day, that's what you get as well."
"I really enjoy being on the pitch. I really enjoy every game and just try to support the team as well as I can," Wienroither said.
"I'm hoping we can just progress on the performances we've had in [previous] games. We have a few games to go until Christmas and I'm really looking forward to them."
